Science with Shannon
On Thursday, Shannon Seal, my mother, came into room 22 to teach us science. She began by explaining pH to the other students( I had already been told ) and why we would need to know if the properties of something were acidic or alkaline. After asking us to test the properties of a few things, she asked us to lay out the acidic and alkaline substances, acid on the left and alkali on the right. Then, she got us to attempt to line out the place we thought multiple substances went. Battery acid was, obviously, the most acidic substance and everybody knew that. Before that, she handed out True/False questions and paired us up in groups to answer. When she was leaving, we did a karakia and a waita.
That's all I have to say, except stay on my blog!
What a lovely piece of writing. It’s a great accurate report on the session - good job!
