Science with shannon week two

On Thursday 9th August, Shannon Seal came into room 22 and taught us about oxidation. The first part of the word relates to oxygen, something dangerous we need to survive, and the second part related to enzyme. Oxidation is the process of oxygen going to the left out object and, after some time, making it appear different to what it was before. For instance, if you leave out an apple, it'll turn brown, meaning that you don't want to eat it anymore.

My work was effective because I was making mistakes, and in the science world mistakes are successes. I tried using the potato as ink, because that's what we were supposed to do, I also attempted to use the vinegar as ink, because again, that's what we were supposed to do.

an example of my invisible ink is here:I used potato juice so it works really well. oh wait you're actually reading wow I recommend not to use potato juice to write to your friends in private because thats mean to potatoes. With vinegar though, the smell really gives it away so use potato juice.

  1. I am glad you enjoyed your lesson. Just remember failure in science is good because it makes to question what went wrong so you can learn more :)
